The Yamaha Electone Festival 2010 finals was held last night at NAFA.
It was a great showcase of talented young people on stage. If you had missed the show, here're the photos for your viewing pleasure : )
My student,Marcus Soh, currently a CEC book 5 student, won the Distinguished Award in the Entertainment Solo section with the popular piece by Kitaro, Matsuri. It was through many weeks of practices that won him his trophy. Let's congratulate him for his great achievement. It's also his first time participating in the YEF.
As for those who couldn't make it to the finals, let's strive harder for next year! : )

Sylvia, last Sat, I saw a video in Yamaha store (the owner let me watch it) about the Electone fest. I don't know, it was in Sing or Japan. All I know, the winner was Kevin from Indonesia. He wore Balinese dress. He was sooooo cute playing. And his music so wow adorable...
