Electone Marathon 2012

Once again, it's our annual Electone Marathon at Yamaha Tampines Mall. Today's programme from my classes includes students from both group and individual classes from the Junior Electone course (JEC), New Electone Study Course (ESCN) and the Yamaha Higher Electone Course (YHEC)

We have a wide range of repertoire from textbook pieces, musicals, disney theme song and K-drama theme songs.

Of course, not forgetting our special invited emcee who has taken time to be with us....so till next year!

It was another interesting experience for the kids to play and showcase what they have learnt in Book 2.  It was just a mini class concert as there were only 4 students. Students from JEC 1, 3 and 6 were also invited to be guests performers during the concert.

Also do watch out for our Electone Marathon which will be held on 8 Dec (Sat) 2012.  My classes will be performing from 1 - 2pm. Do drop by to give our students support and have a refreshing afternoon of electone music. The entire marathon will end at 5pm.

JSFC 2 Sun 2pm class concert 8Jul 2012

A mini class concert was held today for my 2pm graduating from the JSFC course.
The class (Yun Yi, Alton, Joshua and Maurich), together with Samuel from individual class played through what they have learnt in Book 2.  The class also attempted to play 2 simple pieces "Lightly Row" and "Mary had a little lamb" in different styles using the Registration menu. Besides playing in a group, they also attempted playing solo this time on the pieces they selected. Pieces they chosed for solo playing includes Lavender's Blue, It begins raining, and A Dinosaur.

Angela, En Qi and Marcus from JEC 6 played on the Stagea Standard as guest items to end off this concert.
The pieces they played were also from their textbooks. We had Rock n Rock, Toy Symphony and Fly to the Blue Sky.

The kids had an enjoyable time showing off their talents and in preparation for this concert.  Thanks to all parents for their support and encouragements also.  Hope to see you all in the next concert!

Today, my JSFC Book 1 class had their mini class concert. The kids were very excited about it and they all played very well for their parents and siblings to hear.

They now proceed to JSFC book 2.

My CEC class did "Lao Shu Ai Da Mi" and the 2 teenager girls did "Journey", Bryan Kang played a solo piece also.
