YEF 2008 Finals

Sorry, supposed to post this last year but was a little too lazy...hee hee
Anyway...here's a belated posting of the glory of last year's YEF finals : )

My group "The teens" who played "Ayura" got the Best Musical Performance Award
and "D4" got the Best Audience Choice Award.

The Teens - Rachel Goh, Bryan Kang, Jee Yuen and Kai Yi
D4 - Chu Ying, Li Ling, Gerald Chee and Wei Jie

YEF 2009 Heats

Once again we've come to the exciting part of the year to battle for the finals of the Yamaha electone festival.

This year, I've got 3 in the junior entertainment sections:
Ili - playing Complicated
Megan - playing Yo Ho
Joyce - playing Hamtaro Medley
The 3 of them just completed CEC book 2 and 3(for Megan) so it was something new and exciting for them. Though they didnt managed to get into the finals, but I guess the experience was an eye-opener for them. Let's work harder for next year!

As for the Ensemble section, there were 12 groups in all.
This year, I've put together D3(Chu Ying, Li Ling and Gerald) and our little star singer, Angela, who had just joined my CEC for a year. (She's in the same class as Ili and Joyce) They presented the Chinese pop song "Qing Zhu"(meaning Celebration), originally sung by Rainie Yang.

We got into the finals! Yeah! Cheers!
Ok....see you all in the finals....13 Jun, Sat, 730pm, NAFA auditorium.
